Another JBSA JOC task order, Buildings 5105 and 5124 were constructed in 1930 as a mess hall and kitchen and are still being used in that capacity. They are listed as properties eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Gideon provided the design and self performed the construction with in house crews, including architectural and structural – framing, walls, concrete, foundation work, electrical, plumbing, all finishes, painting, flooring, and sitework. Additional work done by subcontractors included the HVAC, fire alarm, fire sprinkler system, and Mass Notification System.
